Professor AC Hauptfleisch
Holds a BSc (in Building Management), Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a PhD. Since 1980, he had been head of the Department of Construction Management at the University of Pretoria. At the end of the year 2000, he stepped down from this position in order to devote more attention to continuing education, research and private practice. Throughout his academic career, he has been in private practice relating to property development, construction, manufacturing and retail. He has extensive experience in researching Private Public Partnerships and Facilities Management.

Holds a BSc (Mathematics) from the University of Athens, a Masters in Operations Research with distinction and a PhD in Statistics from the University of Cape Town. Dr Coutsourides currently manages a property portfolio in excess of R200 million and has both local and international experience. His areas of specialty are research into green building technology, finance and employing technology in optimising the management and efficiencies in existing and new buildings.
